Full Description

The original build sheet for this Vantage shows a production date of March 19, 1984.

The car was sold on January 3, 1985 to the first listed owner who was Benjamin Jacobs. Mr. Jacobs purchased the Vantage from Aston Martin of North America.

Mr. Jacobs purchased the Vantage new with the existing 580X engine fitted and chrome bumpers on the car. This car also had the initials "PGL" inlaid in the wood inside the glove box lid at the time of purchase. The initials "PGL" would have been for Peter Livanos. This Vantage presumably was built for Peter Livanos and was shipped to the United States with the 580X in a crate. Once the car was in the U.S. the 580X engine was fitted to the car and the American spec engine returned to the factory.

When Mr. Jacobs sold the Vantage the car ended up in California with a dealer. Len Auerbach then purchased the car in 1991 and owned the Vantage until the present owner purchased it.

The interior is in outstanding condition and has been retrimmed to the original specifications

Painted in the original British Racing Green. The paint work is in excellent condition but not to a high show standard.

Overall the exterior trim and glass are in good condition

The underside of the car is in excellent condition with all original undercoating and no signs of rust.

The engine compartment is in excellent condition.

This car is fully serviced and ready to drive.
