This 1978 Aston Martin V8 is in excellent condition and needs no work.
The paintwork is excellent and the interior is in beautiful condition. The leather and carpets were restored before the current owner bought the car.
The mechanical condition is outstanding with over fifty thousand dollars of work done by Steel Wings in the last eight years. Work done included removing both cylinder heads, replacing valves, guides, springs and refitting the heads. The carburetors were rebuilt before refitting, cam covers and air box were repainted and misc. parts were cosmetically restored as part of the work. A new Steel Wings MSD ignition system was fitted while the work on the engine was being done.
The air conditioning system has been fully serviced and works well.
The front suspension has been fully rebuilt, the differential assembly resealed, brake calipers rebuilt and Steel Wings handling package fitted. The steering rack was also rebuilt.
A new front windscreen was fitted for cosmetic reasons, rear bumper and overiders rechromed.
Lots of other cosmetic and mechanical work has been done.
The chassis is in excellent condition with no signs of rot anywhere.
