Full Description

This car is the first DB6 Saloon to be delivered into the USA. The car was picked up from Aston Martin (Newport Pagnell) by the original owner at the same time that Aston Martin was announcing the DB6 at the London Auto Show in October 1965. The car is a very solid original car in out standing condition with no chassis or body corrosion. The car has had a total of eight (8) owners. The present owner has owned the car since May 1988. A comprehensive set of service and spare part records is supplied with the car dating from 1982. A previous owner changed the original Silver Birch color to Dark Blue (1984). The paint is in very good condition, however, being an older paint job, there are several paint blemishes. It is our understanding that this vehicle has not suffered any accident damage. The car has also benefited from several "upgrades". The first being the 3-speed automatic being changed for the factory ZF 5 speed. The car has also benefited with having Steelwings suspension kits fitted front and rear.
